I don't know if you'd yet picked up on my love for the US of A? Well if you hadn't let me recap for you:
aged 8- Florida, aged 13- Florida, aged 16- California, aged 17- California, aged 18- California, aged 20 (this year!)- California
Ok there is no pattern there but my love for America has been brewing up in side me for the past 12 years! In the last 4 years I have been visiting and staying with family in California, they live about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles in a place called Thousand Oaks (Will Smith has a huuuuuge house nearby), but this year I'm going to be staying actually in LA with my cousin who's just got her own place.... ANYWAY back to the post Alana...
However sad this sounds, the first time I ever saw this necklace I fell in love.
This necklace is by Maya Brenner Designs. It currently costs $300 in 14K Gold or $160 for sterling silver. The diamond is optional, but the cute thing about it is that you can have it moved to anywhere around the state line, which I think is a nice touch!
Do you have any ties to the USA? Would you ever buy one of these gorgeous necklaces? If so, which state would you get? If you can't decide between New York and California there's even a bi-coastal one!

Nice blog post here! I love the necklace - think its really unique and cute - someone wearing it makes the statement that they like California. Its not 100% clear imo what the necklace is - to others who dont know the shape of the state but clearly gotta be clued up to get it ;)
I too love America - my favourite place in the world. Been to similar places as you, favorite cities are San Francisco and New York. Would find it hard to choose just one state!
I bought a really cute necklace from accessorize a few months back. Its of an apple and statue of liberty! Deffo choose that because of my love for the city! I will show you next week at uni.
Your going to have such a fab time in California this year, especially in LA. Celeb spotting is a must and of course tanning.
