fashion shockers...

When I went to London last week, I spotted a pair of shoes in a shop window... 

Two big shockers... 1. They were from Next. 2. They were CLOGS! Yes! Clogs!

Since like forever, I've been totally against clogs, they are ugly, they make a weird noise when you walk... you get my drift. However 2010 Summer collection's Clogs have me smiling! So, whilst I'm deciding on which colour to get, I concocted a few outfits for the beauts. 

What's the conclusion? I've seen clogs ranging in price from £12 (Primark) and the ones I saw in Next for £40... Grr I hate being on a student budgent. 

So kids, how's your week going so far? I've been enjoying the sun with my gal pals, both of their boyfriends are on holiday at the moment, so we're spending A LOT of girltime together!

pretty hurrrr

So I got a really short haircut and am in the process of growing it out, the second I'm able to, I'm getting hair extensions and my favourite little lady seems to have done exactly that...

 

Absolutely loving VB's look right now! The gorgeous hair colour with the new extensions go so well with the yellow dress by 'Goat'. (For more info about how to buy click HERE- its very reasonable! well for an a-lister!)

wowzers today was a hot day in london town... the tube was all hot and icky! I don't know how people do that all year round! 

 

Here's what I wore... I hope you like it, sorry about the shoddy quality- iPhone, eek, talking of iPhone's there was a HUGE queue outside the Apple store in London and also outside the O2 shop. Jeeeezlouise the lengths some people will go to...

Tomorrow I'm heading to Laaaandan to do a spot of shopping in Camden, Sunbathing in Hyde Park and Drinking (maybe a spot of karaoke) in Soho with my wifey4lifey. This is roughly what I plan to wear, lets hope that it works out kinda similar! I broke my camera (hence why there are no personal photos on this blog so far) so iPhone photos are gonna have to make do!

flirt with the weather...

I once had this idea that if I wore summery clothes then the sun would magically appear and the weather would be nice... This wasn't the case and I just looked like a plonker in a skirt and sandals, but these three ladies below have got it right, I don't know whether thats because where they are from the actual sunshine inspires them, or whatever it is, they are really rocking these hot summer outfits (excuse the pun). I've selected three outfits perfect for three different summer scenarios.

Outfit numero one! This outfit is just right for lunch with the girls, its sexy yet sophisticated...just like me, until one glass of wine turns into a whole bottle...

 

Outfit numero two! I've picked this outfit as my ideal outfit for a casual summer date, following the rule of legs OR boobs, in this case legs, the outfit is so flirty with its gorgeous vibrant print and casual tan accessories. 

 

Outfit numero three! This outfit is a multi-functioning summer outfit, great for a shopping trip, or even a cool summer evening BBQ with family and friends, the gorgeous jacket is fab to put on in the late evening to ignore the chill. Her hair colour is absolutely beautiful don't you think! 

 

Wear these outfits with long tousled hair and natural make up for that perfect summer look. I'm gonna be rocking some of these looks, are you?

Job hunting....wow what a pain in the butt!

So I'm at university studying Public Relations and Communications, just finished my first year! Whats my problem? ...The long summer... The four months that I have off, means I have to get a job. But who wants to take on a student who is going to leave after four months? no one, thats who.

This leaves me with one solution... temping. Wish me luck.

My current girl crush, style, beauty, voice, the whole package is; Lea Michele, star of award winning Fox show 'Glee'. The shows first season finale aired last night so what better excuse for a recap some of Lea's Red Carpet moments this year so far...

Which are your favourite gowns?  Mine are the green Malandrino gown she wore to 2010 SAG awards and her Etro Marble print dress that she wore to the 'Glee' Spring Premiere Soiree!

obsessions...

So I get these TV addictions... It happens like twice a year, but it happens big. The O.C, One Tree Hill, Prison Break, Heroes, 90210, The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl (my one true love)  are to name but a few... I get hold of the dvd boxsets and watch them within the shortest period of time...
My O.C addiction was a scary time! I swear I was verging clincally depressed toward the end of season 3, firstly because Marissa died, and secondly it killed me to watch their perfect lifes!

This week its Entourage, I borrowed the season one boxset, five more to go so theres no stopping me! I love their lives, obviously only gonna happen if I or my besties become movie stars but hey...

Life plan:
- Graduate university with a degree in Public Relations & Communications...
- Move to Los Angeles to live with my beautiful cousin!
- Bam! Live happily FOREVERRRR.

Anyone else have such a simple life plan? :P

neglection...

... Football is coming home... 

Today saw the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. 

It was a grand affair with dancing, music and a special performance from R.Kelly... 

For weeks Facebook status's were reminding us of the upcoming tournament and now its finally here- there is going to be no avoiding it!

Cars are being decorated with England flags, there are countless world cup songs on the radio and supermarkets are offering beer cheap cheap cheap!

But what implications does this have for women everywhere? One guys facebook status this morning was...

"women all over the world prepare to be seriously neglected for the next month"

...OUCH! I feel bad for his gal! 

Right now I don't have a guy so any football being watched in my home is on my terms, but whats it gonna be like for all you girls with boyfriends/husbands/die-hard football fanatic girlfriends? Take the opportunity to shop when the football is on... cook up some delicious half-time food for your loved ones or simply take the time to watch it with the guys and cheer on your team... 

GO ENGLAND!

This little beauty has been on my wishlist for many years, I have had many imitations, but none have come close to the beauty, quality, and perfection of the real deal...  One day, my Prince Charming will hand me this beautiful bag and ask me to marry him, I am not fussed about a ring, just a Chanel Handbag... ahhh. True Love. (The handbag I mean, not the Prince Charming stuff.)
