face-off ROUND UP: part 2

So here we are girlies, this is the end of the X Factor Face-off;  I present to you the one and only, fabulous- Ms Dannii Minogue and her style diaries!

Its fair to say that Dannii Minogue is the X Factor 2010 Style Queen, beating Cheryl Cole in the fashion stakes nearly every week. Dannii has worn some Uh-mayzingggg gowns and dresses this year by some equally amazing designers and I hope that if she returns to our screens next year then she'll blow us away- even more! 

Oh and I have taken into consideration the 20 different looks from each lady over the 10 weekends and the final score looks like this: 

Dannii Minogue -  14

Cheryl Cole -     6

Face-off ROUND UP part 1.

Alright girls, I'm sorry to have to do this to you, but it's only fair I show you all 20 looks from Cheryl over the past 10 weeks of the X Factor.  Cheryl has had some real highs and lows this this season...

In all honesty my favourite look from Cheryl has to be her final look from last night. Chez wore a gorgeous J. Mendel gown with her hair in a very suited style, she complemented with some very cute earrings. (I'm not even going to talk about the outfit that was a disaster on saturday nights show...)

As much as I'm going miss all the gorgeous looks from Dannii and Rebecca I'm kinda glad X Factor is over now, the show became less about singing this year and more about Politics (wagner-gate) and the judges bickering between themselves... How many times did Dermot try to address the judges and they didn't hear because they were arguing? 

Cheryl definitely lost her spark this year... Lets hope she can represent Britain in the US X Factor in more classy gowns next year...

face-off week 9

its that late time of the week again when i present to you last weeks X Factor gowns.... 

saturday night:

Cheryl's couture Stephane Rolland dress is nice, but lacks a little something for me (i've seen the dress as it was presented and this is lacklustre), on the otherhand Dannii looks amazing in this Aurelio Costarella flowing gown with huge corsage. I like to see that the judges are supporting world aids day. 

sunday night:

I'm going to start off by saying on sunday night Cheryl won... Dannii's Jasper Conran dress is all wrong, my girl should not be wearing this dress!

Cheryl's dress would not normally blow me away but compared to Dannii's, it does. The Zuhair Murad dress has long trains that could be seen as either needed for the dress or a bit OTT, i think they make the dress....

i'll post an xfactor face-off special either tomorrow night after the final or monday morning, and thats a promise my friends! if i don't i give you permission to not read my blog anymore......

face-off week 7

Saturday:

Dancing on Ice X Factor judge Cheryl Cole was a bit confused about which show she was judging on saturday night, however she did look gorgeous in Falguni & Shane Peacock, all she needs now is the hunky, bare chested, skate-clad dance partner. Old man Cowell doesn't quite make the cut. 

Dannii wore a simple chic Gucci gown, oozing class and elegance from every pore something that Chezza lacks. 

Sunday:

  

I'm loving the draping on Cheryl's dress and the wrapping around the waist, but i'm not keen on upper chest area its kinda jodie marsh -esque. she does look good though, overall improvement from the night before. 

Danni wore a self designed dress from the Project D line which i'm very much liking. Love the way she nipped in the dress at the waist with the thin black belt. Spot on Ms Minogue, Spot on. 

week 7 verdict:

Dannii- 6

Cheryl- 1

Ooh la la, Cheryl has rather rapidly lost her crown as golden girl, with only a few more weeks to go can she pull through?

face-off week 6

saturday night Chez looked lucious wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown, she seemed to have made a real effort this week, so good on her. her hair was quite blah for such a precious dress but then again if she had done it in a sleek updo i think it would have been too oscars. 

sunday night was a completely different hair story however. at first my feelings were "WHAT WERE YOU THINK CHERYL?! sack the hair stylist". everyone i know who watched the show hated her hair, princess leia/minnie mouse sprang to mind! but the more I see it I'm warming to it, the beautiful/attention grabbing gown was designed by Georges Chakra it reminds me of something Blake Lively would or already has worn.....? overall Cheryl improved largely this weekend in my opinion.

Dannii looked absolutely divine on saturday night channelling her inner goddess in a Carla Zampatti gown. there aren't many other words to use here other than 'perfection'. 

on sunday night she opted for something a little more formal(?) in Emilia Wickstead. I'm loving this look Dannii rocks something so casual, thanks to her hair, it reminds me of all the creative things she did with her hair last season. 

I'm a bit peeved off that they both wore their best dresses on saturday night. It's a very tough decision as both ladies looked absolutely lovely. Due to the fact that I adore Cheryl's gown from Sunday night (I'm warming to the hair), Dannii won saturday & Cheryl won Sunday, the new scores look like this...

week 6, both shows verdict:

dannii- 4

cheryl- 1
