So I don't talk about my job very often, heck, I don't talk on here very often....However, if you know me, you'll know I have a lovely job, at a PR company which is based in London & LA. We've been working on an absolutely amazing social campaign since I started working there, which is odd considering we're an Entertainment Publicity company!

The client is called Bite the Bite, they are a grassroots organisation who's main aim is to increase the percentage of first time voters/18-24year olds! (Think the UK version of the highly successful and celebrity endorsed Rock the Vote in America!) They don't like to use the word 'Politics', they just want to tell you about how important your vote is to you and every one around you! Bite the Ballot is running a campaign called #YouthVoteLondon, which is focussing on the Mayoral Elections in May.
Supporters of this campaign include Estelle, Tinie Tempah, Alesha Dixon, Lethal Bizzle, Noel Clarke, Preeya Kalidis and MANY more! 

They are holding an amazing event at the Ministry of Sound on Saturday 14th April (between 12pm-5pm) for young Londoners aged 16 and over. The event is a registration rally, with its primary objective being entertainment whilst getting young people to sign on to the electoral register (did you know that you are not automatically signed on to it when you move house i.e. university houses etc?)... EVERY young Londoner is invited to attend this event. mothers day jaunt.

Today I went shopping in Brighton with my muma for Mothers day, it was quite lovely strolling down the lanes with her and quite nice weather too. Popped into my favourite shop for girly bits and bobs- Velvet. Those of you who have been into Velvet will know they sell the quaintest, cutest little things! I'm quite obsessed with the items below, although the top one is my favourite!

How did you spend your mothers day, and what did you get your mum? My friend got her mum the most amazing present ever- a necklace of her fingerprint. Honestly, you wouldn't be able to top that, would you?! XOXO AVS

my big sister.

It's been a while girls! How are you? Not much has been happening lately, time is going so quickly! In 4 months I will be moving back home from Southampton (boohoo?) Currently redecorating my room at home, ready for the big move- it's looking lush (will post pic). 

This weekend I went out for dinner and then to a leaving 'do with my beautiful Sister (Mum). In case you were wondering we went to Prezzo and it was uh-mayyyy-zing. She looked absolutely beautiful, rocking the black Topshop skinnies, feather top and grey blazer. Go Mum!

Currently working, so got to get back. Have a fantastic week ladies. XOXO AVS

new year, new you?

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Sorry it's a bit late, I've only just returned from my hols. I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas & New Years! Mine was spent laying on a beach in Thailand (heaven!) For any one thinking about going travelling- do it. I know I was only away for 2 weeks, but seriously I've been bitten by the travel bug (I was told never to say that phrase again- oops). 

ALSO! Happy belated birthday to my pal, Ray! It was her birthday on the 4th, I hope you all sent her a lovely message? If not, write two next year? 

So, what are your *dreaded* New Years resolutions? Mine include: 

Being smilier [they're infectious don't you know! :)] 

Eating my 5-a-day [I'm being realistic with food goals]

Finally completing the 30 day shred [I've never quite made it to the 20th day]

Being A LOT more organised [I'm a bit of a hoarder, so it's hard to find things in a hurry, such as clothes, important documents, keys etc]

Travel more [Vegas, LA, and Melbourne are hopes]

Post on this blog more! [I totally neglected the blog the last 6 months of the year, due to getting a new job, moving house and travelling a hell of a lot, but I'm back and I'm raring to go ;)] 

Before I left for my vacay, I got my hair did. This is what it looked like that very day (it's completely different now, the top colour has faded so it doesn't look like such a huge contrast- still contrasting but not so hideously).... I just thought "what the hell, why not do something crazy?" I immediately regretted it as my hair stylist seemed incapable of actually doing it once she started but hey, you live and learn, and I've learned to start looking for a new hairdresser. 

Anywho, I know you've got opinions, so constructive criticism is very welcome. I know the dip-dye is at the total wrong place. So there's no point writing that if you were going to.

HELLO! How the devil are you? It's been such a long time since I last wrote on here, and SO much has happened since then! First and foremost I've been craaaaazyyyyy busy lately, working full-time at a PR company in London, I'm taking a year out of uni to get some work experience. The job is amazing, it's taken me to LA (twice) & NYC so far! 

I may not have been blogging and commenting but I have been reading all of your blogs daily! I'm back now for a week until I head off abroad for Christmas, but in the New Year full blogging shall resume! Take care of yourselves! XOXO AVS

Hello beautiful chica's! It's been so long!  

I've honestly never been so busy; working at the PR company, spending my hard earned wages, partying- I'm really loving living in the new house with my girlies. 

Katie: Top- H&M, Jeans- New Look  Mel: Dress-TK Maxx  Me: Top-Miss Selfridge, Leather Skirt- H&M, Belt- Unknown

This is us before a night out this week, we go out SO often here, so a lot of outfits are needed,

which of course is quite stressful... I absolutely adore both Katie & Mel's outfits here, absolutely adore the Bright jeans trend (you may have seen Ray's post about them here) and Mel's dress is so gorgeous, it has these sheer panels on the waist area (but you can't see them because my stupid image) 

Oh so I'm going back to LA in 2 weeks exactly. Whoopaaaa. So many plans for it: working at the Playboy Mansion party, visiting San Francisco & San Diego, hitting up Venice Beach (I haven't been for a few years, and it's one of my favourite places in CA). AHHH, if you have any suggestions of where I should visit, let me know....
