a reason to snuggle up

autumn is under way, with the leaves falling and the temperature dropping, giving us all (students in particular) an excuse to stay indoors and wrap up in our duvets are lectures and watch countless episodes of jezza kyle. its not autumn thats been making me do this but a kidney infection, i've had to call in sick to work for the past two days and i'm pretty gutted, i am really low on pennies at the mo so this is a very big inconvenience to me, as well as the pain and discomfort i'm in. 

the image above is of me and my friend bobby when i saw him out at a club in soton last week, hes a friend from home, we were in the same form group at college for two years so its always nice to bump into him :) i just wanted to put a photo up where im happy and healthy, coz jeez it feels like so long ago, first i had a cold now less than a week later this problem, when will it stop?!

my cat thinks he's a tiger...

faux leather jacket & dress & tights- H&M, brogues- Primark, Bag- Mischa Barton collection

in the picture my cat is literally growling at me, he thinks hes a big cat. more a lion than a tiger because he just sleeps and then sometimes stirs and growls. what a beaut. 

this picture is terrible quality- AGAIN taken on iPhone, so apologies, but it was the best i could do, my mum kindly stood in the rain doing it for me so i can't complain.  i have actually asked my papa  for a camera for christmas so very very soon i may actually have a decent quality image to present to you lovelies! wooooooo :)  

my dad is a bit of a 'man' and needs the details put straight infront of him i.e what shop to buy from, how much, etc. so my question to you is, what camera should i ask for?! a nice little one that i can take on nights out, but nothing too cheap, and nothing too complicated. (suggestions below please :P )

what are you doing today? i only had uni 10-12, so my day seems so empty! i just tidy my room, read some magazines, watch some tv. come to think of it i dont actually do much uni work haha!

Apologies for todays www being so late! These beaut's are designed by two of the most stylish girls to walk the planet (in my opinion), Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen. 

Their line Elizabeth and James (named after their other siblings) is now being sold on asos.com where i saw these gorgeous boots. 

GET.IN.MY.LIFE.

at £280 they are pretty unrealistic for me, hence a wildest wish. 

if these boots were to ever grace my life with their presence, they would be teamed with some super skinny jeans, a tee, gorgeous leather jacket and chunky knit scarf.

SO, i have the internet once again! how fabulous is this?! i can now keep up with all your fabby bloggys, watch bbciplayer/itvplayer/4od once again and post on xoxo avs, great news!

so many little things often pop up in my head during the day that i want to ask you guys but by the time it comes to writing the post i pretty much always forget the questions. but  there is one....

i strongly stress the word constructive, nothing bitchy, catty or nasty, but constructive. like: "a thin black belt would have really worked with your outfit above alana" or "maybe tan shoes instead of those grey wedges?"   do you get me lovelies?!

Many of you won't know much, if anything about my academic career, so here's a little insight to me... I'm currently at Southampton Solent University studying Public Relations & Communications. 

I have met some amazing people, done some interesting assignments and totally love the course. 

This year we have started some new modules, 'advertising: creative concepts' being one of them. 

Our brief for this term is to analyse these Harvey Nichols ads above. 

I'm gonna throw this out there- I want to  have the best presentation...

Ah The Hangover is such a good film, anyone here love it as much as I do?! 

I'm not going to lie to you, I've been feeling really uninspired the last few days, I'm out of touch with the blogging world thanks very much to the stupid lack of internet in my house at uni so quickly grabbing 10 mins in the library to catch up when I can. Here are a few photos of me and my girls when we went out to a club called Bliss a few weeks ago, sorry they aren't brand new I accidentally stole them off of Beth's camera the other day and thought they were perfect to use :)

Such a great night out, needless to say we were hanging bad the next day! 

OH! And talking of great nights out... I went to Wahoo on Sunday night and met the gorgeous Michelle, that was so surreal, I hadn't met her before only stalked her blog everyday for the summer and to just bump into her was weird! I 'recognized' her teehee! I was drunk and I know I said something embarrassing like "Your voice isn't how I expected it to sound" (Not in a bad way Michelle!) 

Hopefully I will be seeing a lot more of Michelle over the next two years whilst we are at the same university!
